SMT (SMD) LED
SMD (Surface Mount Device or SMT) LEDs containing single or multiple chips. Lens angles generally are around 120 degrees. Available in various sizes with a range of pin and format options including PLCC and Ceramic. Plus the ability to provide shared anode and cathode or seperate anode and cathode (polarity chip dependant) per frequency. SMD LEDs are very low profile and perfectly suited to dense packing and high speed automated assembly. 

Above: New FOM56 - 5mm x 6mm high power Surfacemount LED. Current max 400mA. Shown with 2 x 633 nm 600um x 600um chips. 1100um x 1100um single, power chip can also be used. 365 nm to 375 nm , 380 nm to 390 nm, 400 nm, 405 nm, 410 nm, 415 nm, 420 nm. Can accommodate almost all wavelengths from UV - UltraViolet through Visible to I/R InfraRed. This just one of a wide range of advanced surface mount LED packages available from us.
